Service Providers
Baby Palakkatt, his wife Anice and his two children Dalia Baby & Lijo Baby continue to be the main and full time workers and service providers for these mentally sick brethren. They are supported by a few other full time workers such as Mathew and his wife Mary and Anish who also is a volunteer worker. There are also part time volunteer workers from nearby places and parishes. All of them are totally committed and fully dedicated to the cause of this special service of these patients.
Medical Service
For psychiatric treatment we mainly depend on Dr. Francis Abraham, Chief Psychiatrist, Asirvad Hospital Kannur. There are two other medical doctors who regularly visit our institution for the treatment of our inmates. We also take the patients to the nearby hospital or to the Taluk Hospital as and when necessary.
Maintenance
The institution depends on charity for its maintenance. The local public, number of service organizations and religious institutions give help for running this home. Doctors from Alakode, Kannur etc give occasional free service.
Assets
The buildings and the site belong to the Trust and it has no other fixed assets or income. So far we have not received any help from any foreign agencies or individuals. Government Support The Board of Control of Orphanages recognized it as a certified home for mental patients. Social welfare Department gives Rs.150 per month to 20 of the inmates.
